Meet Dr. Robert Merrill ROBERT  MERRILL, D.D.S., M.S. Dr. Robert M. Merrill graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1988.  He and his family then moved to Oklahoma to complete his advanced education in Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma.  He earned his Master's Degree and Certificate of Specialty in 1990, and moved to the Wenatchee Valley where he began his orthodontic practice.  In February of 1999, Dr. Merrill officially became Board Certified in Orthodontics, a strictly voluntary process that goes beyond the state requirements for Orthodontics, and of which fewer than 20% of orthodontists achieve. He is a former president of the North Central District Dental Society and former president of the Washington State Society of Orthodontists.  He serves professionally with the Central Washington Cleft Palate Team, on the state level with committees of the Washington State Dental Association, and on the national level with the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Government Affairs, having chaired that council for two terms.  He is a representative of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists to the governing body of the Orthodontic Association, the House of Delegates of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Merrill  is involved in the Wenatchee community, serving with the YMCA Board, Eastmont School District, and Boy Scouts of America.  He and his wife Mary are the parents of four children.  His children both attend and have graduated from the Eastmont public schools.    All rights reserved & copy; Merrill Orthodontics
